NXN is pleased to announce the release of the EZcom GT-511MC Modbus RTU to TCP over GPRS Converter. As the internet technology advances, many industrial automation equipments, such as PLC, sensors, meters, and pump controllers, are needed to have access to internet, and Modbus has become the most widely used protocol in the communication for industrial automation.
Between Modbus or non-Modbus serial RTU devices, GT-511MC can translate Modbus TCP (GPRS/3G) messages to serial Modbus RTU/ASCII messages (both Master and Slave) through GPRS wireless network and serial RS-232/422/485 interfaces. And without the need to modify the existing application or installing additional hardware equipments, this plug-and-play device makes it possible for real-time communication and data exchange between machines with different hardware interfaces.
The EZcom series are engineered and designed for harsh, industrial-type applications, and are compliance with CE, FCC, C-Tick, RoHS approvals.
